The redirector is a program built into the labtech system that will redirect any single port TCP application from the labtech client program to the remote service. With this you can telnet directly into a mail server behind the customers firewall with the connection origination from the clients machine. This way you can see exactly what the customer sees.
This service was originally envisioned running a VNC(remote desktop) connection. But as time went on the VNC service was built in to the labtech system and is available to any PC that has the labtech remote installed.
