VNC Built In? Whats That?
VNC Stands for Virtual Network Computing. This is a program that is very simmalar to PCAnywhere or Remote Desktop. The VNC program was released into the public domain and we took this source and modified it to work inside the labtech system. The VNC service that runs on the clients machine is only started when the tech requests the connection and only after the client successfully connects to the redirector. Once the VNC server is running it only accept connections from localhost so noone could hijack the connection.

This connection allows you to interact with the current user desktop and help them in realtime.

I hope we don't need to say this again but you do not need to configure firewalls or remember passwords for this to work.
