Change the system be changed or modified in any way?
The compiled labtech client can not be changed but does support scripting so could be extended with a script.
Since the data is stored in a MYSQL database it can be accessed from ANY other computer and be scripted or extended in any way you see fit. For examle you could write a webpage that show downed monitors. Or you could have a script that checks the database for computer changes and do things. You could also write scripts that link your accounts, time tracking or other systems.
