						<title>LabTech 2.5e is Released</title>

<description><![CDATA[LabTech 2.5e has been released and fixes many small bugs introduced with the new features of 2.5d. There are no new features in this release just fixes and improvements to the Control Center and Remote Agent. <br /><br />The remote Agent has been made compatible with transparent proxies that do not allow Expects. Vastly Improved is the VNC responsivenes and updates of the screen with this comes a redesigned redirector that uses 70% less CPU. It also bypasses performance counters that are broken by disabling them, some machines the service completely crashed. Also fixed is the Network Browser list and many of the Probe detection functions. <br /><br />The Database Agent has been improved to perform group tasks every 6 minutes and run group scripts every minute. A Property has been added to turn off opening of finished tickets when the customer replies. The Script engine has been fixed to correctly identify computers that are offline and not run scripts on them when the 'Run only at this Time' is checked. Also bulk emailing of alerts is turned off when Location&#092;Computer Contacts are selected and the Success messages make more sense.<br /><br />The Control Center under went many bug fixes and a few improvements such as ticket notifications are send whenever tickets are created and TicketID opening from the keyword search. The registry Editor has been fixed to handle binary data, has been cleaned up and the copy LabReg Syntax now works. The ticket and group screen have had many fixes to prevent errors and correct failed attachments. Server Configuration items has been restricted to the server and will restart the services automatically. Group based security has been fixed to allow tickets that do not have computers assigned. Also if you have Clients that do not have computers you drag them to the groups and the techs will have access to them.<br /><br />Lastly the Web control center has a few fixes to how tickets were displayed and prevented some from showing. Also added is the ability to create tickets in the web control center and the Wake on Lan feature is working exactly like control centers. New virus scanners have been added to the list such as McAfee Online, Vipre, AVG 8.5+,Norton Antivirus v16 ,Norton Corporate, IKARUS, Windows Defender and Clam Antivirus. Finally the OpenSSH package has been updated to allow it to work on VISTA by enabling application compatibility mode.<br />]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[LabTech 2.5c has been release and fixes many small issues and add several new features. The built in VNC is now much faster and works on 99% of all computers with server console issues fixed. The Web Control Center has been updated with a new theme and new functionality like contact login and an information base so your customers can look up answers and help themselves. The Computer history has been improved to include detailed stats recorded 2 times a day. The Wake on Lan is functioning correctly and can be used to wake up the most stubborn computer. Compatibility has been improved with all the ViSTA/2008 and 64bit issues taken care of in the control center.<br /><br />]]></description>

Also updated is the ticket email handling where the techinician is identified and can open and delete tickets from emails. A Ticket alerting mechanism has been implement and can be different for each client.
