Introduction
The Alert Contact pertains to Monitoring and is set within the Alert Config section of a Monitor Configuration Screen. When an Alert is generated within the LabTech System the contact associated with the Alert will receive the Alert Message pertaining to the Alert Action. See Monitoring.
- Note: If the Ticket Alert Action is specified, and the Alert Contact Email is the same as a users email within the LabTech System, the tickets will be automatically assigned to that user.
Alert Contacts
- Default Contacts - Default System-wide contacts can be added from the Navigation Menu within the Control Center.
- Right Click on Contacts and select Add New Contact.
- Client Contacts - Contacts can be associated with specific clients and used as a default contact for alerts and scripts.
- Drag a contact from the default contacts group in the navigation menu to the contacts group under a specific client.
- Right Click on Contacts under a specific client in the navigation menu and select Add New Contact.
