Contig
by SysInternals
Contig is a single-file defragmenter that attempts to make files contiguous on disk. The program is only used in Windows 2000 since their is not a command line defragment utility. Get Contig from Microsoft.
Note
- The file needs to be in %windir%\LTsvc
PSExec
by SysInternals
PsExec is a light-weight telnet-replacement that lets you execute processes on other systems, complete with full interactivity for console applications, without having to manually install client software. The Remote Agent uses this to do network Push functions and this is only needed on Probe computers that will need to Push. Get PSExec from Microsoft.
Note
- The file needs to be in %windir%\LTsvc
- Some anti-virus scanners report that one or more of the tools are infected with a "remote admin" virus. None of the PsTools contain viruses, but they have been used by viruses, which is why they trigger virus notifications.
Script Tools
Programs like LUA, AutoIT and Produkey are used in some of our contributed scripts and need to be in the transfer\tools directory. A packageof the tools has been created by one of our users just run it from the root of the drive your LTShare is in.
